Meetings

The Bella Vista Garden Club meetings are a great place to meet fellow gardeners who often become good friends. Enjoy good food, learn new and interesting things about all aspects of gardening, and participate in projects with beautify and benefit the community.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, meeting locations and times may have changed. Check the homepage for information on "The Next Meeting".

The public is welcome to attend regular meetings which are held the fourth Wednesday of the following months: January, February, March, April, September and October. These meetings take place in McKay Hall at the Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Boulevard, in Bella Vista. The meeting social time and pastries and drinks is 9:30 am and the meeting starts at 10:00 am. Each meeting features a guest speaker and/or program, a floral exhibit, a horticulture topic and a Garden Boutique for shopping.

There are no meetings in July, August or November. However, June and December feature luncheons and a short meeting where the club gathers at a local restaurant or other venue to celebrate the season.

May is set apart as the month in which the club holds its Plant Sale, takes a Field Trip which includes a short meeting and gets ready for either a Flower Show, Garden Party or Garden Walk in May or June.

Meeting presentations frequently have a bent toward conservation themes. Some of those can be found on our Gardening Info page.
