2010 BVGC TV Programs

The Bella Vista Gardening Program produced and hosted by Geri Hoerner, unless otherwise stated, began airing in March 2010.   It includes a specific topic along with upcoming gardening events and what to do in your garden for the month.

The March 2010 Program theme is NWA Gardening Organizations.  The various clubs and organizations are described along with the NWA Garden Co-Op members and the Benton County Master Gardeners.  Alice Cunningham is featured in the "Meet the Masters" segment.

The April 2010 Program guest is Tony LiCausi.  Gardening the Natural Way is the Theme of the program.  Tony covers the basics of organic gardening.  What to do in your garden in April is also discussed. 

The May 2010 Program guest is Mary Doyle.  The Bella Vista Garden Club's Flower Show is the theme.  What to do in your garden in May is also discussed.  Carmen Greenup is featured in the "Meet the Masters" segment showcasing her Pond and Vegetable Garden.

The June 2010 Program guest is Diane Cobb. Container Gardening is the Theme of the program.  What to do in your garden in June is discussed.  Becky Elliott is featured in the "Meet the Masters" segment showcasing her Casual Garden.

The July 2010 Program guest is Lou Jasper.  Irrigation and Water Features is the Theme of the program.  What to do in your garden in July is also discussed.  Gwen Kerr is featured in the "Meet the Masters" segment showcasing her Rose Garden.

The August 2010 Program guest is Kitty Casanova from the NWA Gardening Co-Op. The NWA Gardening Co-Op is the theme of the program.  Village Waste Water Company's Growing Program,  the Daylily Club, and the Master Gardeners at the Benton County Fair are discussed.  Bonnie Bloom is featured in the "Meet the Masters" segment showcasing her unique garden.

The September 2010 Program guest is John Stryker.  Spring Blooming Bulbs is the Theme.  Planting spring blooming bulbs what to do in your garden in September is discussed.

The October 2010 Program guest is Diane Cobb.  Butterfly Gardening is the theme.  What to do in your garden in October is also discussed.

The November 2010 Program guest is Brian Grosnickle owner of Village Garden and Landscaping Co.  Drying Plants for Decoration and Planting Bulbs Indoors and Out is the theme. Judy Geigle is featured in the "Meet the Masters" segment showing her English style garden.

The December 2010 Program was not taped due to bad weather.
